About Huawei Watches

Huawei Watches are smartwatches developed by Chinese technology company Huawei. The watch line began in 2015 with the original HUAWEI WATCH and has grown into one of the broadest wearable portfolios on the market. Current families include WATCH GT 7 and GT 7 Pro, WATCH 5, WATCH Ultimate 2, WATCH FIT, and the health-focused WATCH D2, covering everyday fitness, running, cycling, diving, golf, cellular connectivity, and advanced health monitoring.

Huawei entered the smartwatch market in 2015 with the original HUAWEI WATCH, a round Android Wear smartwatch designed to combine connected technology with the appearance and materials of a traditional wristwatch.

Since then, Huawei has developed a broad wearable ecosystem ranging from lightweight fitness watches to premium outdoor, diving, health-monitoring, and cellular smartwatches. The company’s current watch families include WATCH GT, WATCH, WATCH Ultimate, WATCH FIT, and WATCH D.

The WATCH GT 7 is one of Huawei’s core current smartwatch families. Available in 41mm and 46mm versions, it focuses on fitness, outdoor sports, precise positioning, health tracking, and long battery life. The 46mm version can operate for up to 21 days under light-use conditions and approximately 12 days under typical use.

The more advanced WATCH GT 7 Pro adds premium construction with a titanium-alloy case, nano-tech ceramic bezel, sapphire glass, ECG functionality, advanced outdoor sports features, and additional health-tracking capabilities while retaining battery life of up to 21 days under light use.

The HUAWEI WATCH 5 represents the company’s more connected smartwatch line. Available in 42mm and 46mm sizes, it supports eSIM cellular calling in compatible markets and introduces Huawei’s multi-sensing X-TAP technology for rapid access to health measurements.

Huawei’s TruSense health-tracking system combines optical and electrical sensors with software algorithms to monitor metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress, temperature-related data, and other wellness indicators. Feature availability depends on the specific watch and region.

The WATCH Ultimate 2 is Huawei’s flagship adventure watch. It uses a zirconium-based liquid-metal case, sapphire glass, ceramic components, dual-band satellite positioning, and specialized diving technology. The watch is designed for dives to depths of up to 150 meters and also supports professional golf and outdoor-sport features.

WATCH Ultimate 2 also introduced sonar-based underwater communication, allowing compatible watches to exchange selected information between divers underwater. Selected versions support eSIM cellular calling when used with compatible networks.

The WATCH FIT family provides a lighter and more affordable entry point. WATCH FIT 4 and FIT 4 Pro use large AMOLED displays and slim aluminum cases, with the Pro adding sapphire glass, a titanium bezel, ECG functionality, dual-band GNSS, and more advanced outdoor-sport features.

Huawei also produces the specialized WATCH D2, which incorporates a compact inflatable wrist cuff for oscillometric blood-pressure measurement. In supported European markets, WATCH D2 is certified as a medical device for ambulatory blood-pressure monitoring while also providing conventional smartwatch, fitness, and health-tracking functions.

Long battery life is one of Huawei’s major competitive strengths. Depending on the watch and usage mode, current models range from several days for highly connected eSIM watches to as much as three weeks for selected WATCH GT models.

Huawei watches generally work with both Android and iOS smartphones through the Huawei Health app. Exact compatibility and individual functions can vary by watch model, phone platform, country, and local regulatory approvals.

Materials also vary substantially across the range. Entry-level models commonly use aluminum, while premium watches can feature titanium alloys, nano-ceramic, sapphire glass, 904L stainless steel, and zirconium-based liquid metal.

Current international pricing ranges from roughly $170 for entry-level WATCH FIT models to several hundred dollars for WATCH GT and WATCH 5 models. WATCH Ultimate models approach or exceed $1,000, while special WATCH Ultimate Design editions can reach several thousand dollars.
